Q: If I am not in a milestone Reunion but would like Reunion registration materials, where do I request them?
A: If you are not in a milestone reunion class and would like to receive registration materials, please contact the Reunion Hotline, 315-312-5559 or e-mail email@example.com.
Q: When will we receive registration materials?
A: Registration forms and the schedule of events will be mailed to you in mid-April. You will also be able to register online earlier in spring 2013.
Your registration is not complete until all fees are paid. Registration is recorded on a first-come, first-served basis. Some events do sell out, so register early! Walk-ins may not be able to purchase tickets at the door — please plan ahead!
ALL EVENTS ARE CATERED AND ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Confirmation letters and directions will be forwarded upon receipt of your paid reservation. If your registration is received after an event is SOLD OUT, your registration will promptly be placed on a waiting list and you will be notified immediately. All event rates are per person. Please note early bird pricing discounts. The amount you pay is determined by the postmark date of your reservation. We encourage faxes and online reservations on our secure Web site.

Q: How much does it cost to attend Reunion?
A: Reunion events are a la carte - you can choose what events you sign up for. (To stay in on-campus housing, you must sign up for one of the major all-alumni Reunion Weekend events - either the "Come as You Were" BBQ on Friday night, or the Dinner on Saturday night.) All events require advance reservations. Some events do sell out, so it is important to make your reservations early! All attendees also receive a Reunion memento. Individual event prices range from approximately $5 to $40.
Q: What type of lodging is available Reunion Weekend?
A: Experience Oswego's legendary sunset from a gorgeous (that's not a misprint!) campus residence hall! We have arranged for Reunion participants and their guests to stay in the beautiful newly renovated Johnson and Riggs Halls, perfect for a casual gathering of old friends, Adirondack-style lounges with a wall of windows and more! These halls are within walking distance of many reunion events. Each room has two twin beds. Unless you list a roommate, you will be assigned a single room. A maximum of two adults allowed per room. Linen, towels and blankets will be provided.
The halls are air-conditioned and have "community" (dormitory-style) bathrooms on each floor. SORRY, NO PETS ALLOWED. Special arrangements can be made to house early arrivals. Members of the same class year and/or affinity group will be housed on the same floor, space permitting. Refrigerator rentals are available for an additional charge.
To take advantage of on-campus Reunion housing, you must be registered for at least one of the following major all-alumni Reunion events - "Come as You Were" BBQ at Fallbrook on Friday or the Dinner on Saturday. (A credit card is required for all on-campus housing reservations, even if you are paying by check.)

Q: Where are my friends staying?
A: Please make arrangements with one another if you would like to share a room on campus. Both parties should indicate that they will be rooming with each other on the registration forms.
(Only one registrant needs to pay for the room on his/her reservation form!) Members of the same class year and/or affinity group will be housed on the same floor, space permitting.
Q: What type of transportation is available for Reunion Weekend?
A: You must arrange your own transportation to and from Oswego. Transportation information from Syracuse Airport and train/bus station is available on our Public Transportation page.
Golf carts and vans are available on campus throughout the weekend to assist with transportation to and from residence halls and events, for those who need special assistance. Complimentary downtown Reunion shuttles are provided Friday and Saturday nights 9 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Q: Can I bring my children to Reunion? What types of activities are available?
A: Kids are Welcome!
Babysitting will be offered during official Reunion events for event participants only. There will be an hourly fee assessed. ADVANCE reservations are required for childcare! Special discounted children's prices and menus offered for all events. Activities for kids at most events with the Family Fun icon. Q: Are pets allowed on campus?
A: We are sorry, but no pets are allowed on campus. Please make alternate arrangements.
Q: If I have special dietary requirements, will arrangements be made?
A: Yes. Please indicate on your registration form if you have special dietary requirements. Catering will make the necessary arrangements.
Q: What should I pack?
A: We recommend packing resort casual clothes. The weather in June in Oswego can be unpredictable - hot and sunny or cold and rainy! In case of rain or cold weather, bring slickers, sweaters, and umbrellas. Playpens and portable cribs should be on young families' lists. There are telephones available in residence hall rooms for on-campus calls. You will need a cell phone or calling card for local or long distance calls. Bring your own clock if you need an alarm. Every guest staying in on-campus housing will be provided linens, 1 blanket, 1 pillow, and towels to last throughout your stay. You should pack necessary toiletries, hangers, and an iron.
Q: How will I know when my class or affinity group or organization is holding their special event(s) so I can make my travel arrangements?
A: Check out the sample schedule of events for a general idea of typical Reunion Weekend event schedule. The tentative and final schedules for Reunion will be updated on the Reunion web site as the volunteer planning committee finalizes plans.

Q: What is a cluster reunion?
A: A cluster reunion brings three classes together for a joint reunion celebration.
Q: Who will be in my cluster?
A: The cluster reunion schedule indicates the classes with whom you will be celebrating your cluster reunions. Classes celebrating their 10th, 25th, 40th and 45th reunions and 50th reunions will gather individually and never be “clustered”.
Q: When did cluster reunions begin?
A: The first cluster reunions took place during Reunion Weekend 1994.
Q: Why have cluster reunions?
A: You asked for it!
• Yes, alumni have supported this idea for several years. There are many friendships, and marriages, between classes of Oswego State grads. Cluster reunions provide the opportunity to enjoy the fellowship of your friends in three different classes, not just your own.
• Reunions are an important tradition on college campuses. The cluster reunion format meets current alumni interests, and provides the best reunion experience possible!
• When you remember your college friends, who do you think of.….hallmates, teammates, sorority sisters, fraternity brothers and fellow members of campus clubs and organizations?
Cluster reunions offer a unique opportunity to meet with “old” friends from all of these areas in addition to the members of your own class!
