We did it!

“I give back because without my Oswego education and experiences, there's no way I'm in the position I am today and I want to help put others in similar positions. Join me and show your Laker pride by making a gift to the 24-Hour Challenge on October 16!”

On 10-16-14, we made history! We exceeded the original challenge of 750 donors, securing a $40,000 gift from Steve Levy '87 to The Fund for Oswego.

The excitement of the challenge increased as new followers came forward. Michael ’83, vice chair of Oswego College Foundation Board, and Joanne Snyder Durney ’84 as well as Tim ’02, Oswego Alumni Association Board member, and Andrea Barnhart have issued their own challenges to Oswego supporters in honor of this momentous day. A super goal of 1,016 (10/16--like this day that is making history!) was set; and we surpassed it! The Durney's will make a gift of $10,161.40 and the Barnhart's will make a gift of $6,000 to the college.

1,163 donors joined the excitement from across the globe to raise a grand total $199,745.73 by participating in the 24-Hour Challenge.
