New Technology and Equipment

Ensuring students learn with the latest technology and equipment

SUNY Oswego’s students deserve to learn on modern equipment and in smart classrooms, using the tools and technology found in today’s workplaces. From high-powered microscopes to modern light and sound boards, we want our students to graduate with the skills needed to succeed.

The massive makeover of Oswego’s science facilities — highlighted by the new Richard S. Shineman Center for Science, Engineering and Innovation — was our most ambitious capital project to date. This dynamic, learning-centered environment will promote innovative science teaching and student-faculty collaboration.

Our goal is to outfit and maintain all campus facilities with the most up-to-date research tools and equipment to kindle exploration and inquiry that will lead to research discoveries that benefit our community, state and world.
