Planned Giving
SUNY Oswego provides a wealth of resources to assist individuals who are interested in learning more about gift planning. There are a range of ways to support the college that will provide guaranteed income for life or that require no funds during your lifetime.

Some Planned Gift Options

Friends and supporters of Oswego can direct resources to the college in a number of ways, including:
  • Bequests
  • Beneficiary Designations
  • Charitable gift annuities
  • Charitable remainder trusts
Individuals who include SUNY Oswego in their wills or estate plans are invited to be members of the Sheldon Legacy Society, named after college founder, Edward Austin Sheldon. Gifts that earn membership in the Sheldon Legacy Society include bequest intentions; beneficiary designations; trusts, gift annuities and other life income arrangements; and gifts of insurance.
