SUNY Oswego Alumna Helps Student Connect to Prestigious Scholarship
Bridget Jackson ’15, one of 17 recipients of a New York Women in Communication scholarship, has Kellen Communications Vice President Joan Reinhart Cear ’80 to thank for the honor. They met in January at New York Career Connections, an event sponsored by the Oswego Alumni Association and funded with support from The Fund for Oswego, at which Cear suggested Jackson apply for a place in the NYWICI Class of 2014. 

PwC Chairman Bob Moritz ’85 Shares Insights About Global Trends and Employee Success
Bob Moritz ’85, chairman and senior partner of the U.S. accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), shared five major global trends and the four primary qualities future employees will need to succeed during his recent on-campus lecture.

Fourth Annual Future Oswego Leaders Conference
Dozens of SUNY Oswego students attended the fourth annual Future Oswego Leaders Conference (FOLC) on Saturday, March 8. The conference featured student and alumni presenters who aimed to celebrate and encourage leadership roles among SUNY Oswego students.

The men's ice hockey team wrapped up its season after another deep playoff run and was recognized in and USCHO's final polls.

Commencement Eve Torchlight Ceremony
The Oswego Alumni Association hosts one of the longest-standing traditions—the Commencement Eve Torchlight Dinner and Ceremony on Friday, May 16. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m., and advance reservations are required. The candlelight ceremony begins at 9 p.m. To make your dinner reservations and for more details, visit

The college will celebrate Commencement during three ceremonies on Saturday, May 17, in the Campus Center Convocation Arena.
