The Oswego Alumni Association held an Alumni Legacy Reception on Oct. 22 in King Hall, welcoming a few dozen legacy families during the college’s annual Friends and Family Weekend.

Around 150 graduates of the communications studies department, as well as current students, gathered for the triennial department dinner on Oct. 30.

School of Business Symposium Explores Diversity, Equity in the Workplace
Panelists in SUNY Oswego’s second annual Business Symposium explored the topic of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. The symposium featured a panel discussion and breakout sessions; it was held Oct. 14 in the Sheldon Hall Ballroom.

Augmented Reality, Robotics Among Topics at SUNY Oswego’s 77th Annual Technology Conference
Approximately 350 conference attendees took part in more than 50 programs  -- many of which are presented by alumni -- plus the Technology Innovation Showcase, a reception, professional development sessions, and numerous commercial exhibits with the latest for the classroom and laboratory. It's all part of the Department of Technology's annual Technology Conference, which just concluded its 77th year.

Five Inducted to SUNY Oswego Athletic Hall of Fame
Five alumni athletes joined the ranks of 101 accomplished individuals who have been voted into the SUNY Oswego Athletic Hall of Fame, forever solidifying themselves in the college’s athletic history. They were officially inducted into the Hall of Fame at a Nov. 5 ceremony during Homecoming 2016.

Rodriguez '20 Shatters Swimming Freestyle Record
Daniel Rodriguez '20 had a 1000-yard freestyle time of 9:54.07 in a recent meet, breaking a nearly 10-year-old program record by more than five seconds, set in 2007 by Jason Cotter.

White '20 Named ECAC Women's West Rookie of the Week
The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has named Jacquelin White '20 its Women's West Rookie of the Week.
