Oswego Welcomes Incoming Students at Torchlight
The dimly lit room suddenly became full of light – not from one individual source – but from thousands of candles, united as one by the torch of learning, held proudly by the newest participants in the Oswego tradition of the Welcoming Torchlight Ceremony.

Large, Diverse Incoming Class on Horizon
The Office of Admissions this fall anticipates enrolling one of the largest freshman classes in recent memory—about 1,485 students, 200 more than last year. It also likely is the most diverse and geographically expansive freshman class.

Have no fear, A.S.K. is here!
Many recent graduates and current students fear what comes after they receive their diploma and leave Oswego. A unique program sponsored by the Oswego Alumni Association helps connect current students and recent grads to some of our most successful alumni.

May Graduates Make Links to Future
Many members of SUNY Oswego’s Class of 2013, who received their diplomas during Commencement activities on Saturday, May 18, have spent the past few years linking to their future.

Be a Part of Green and Gold Day
Everyone is encouraged to show their Oswego Pride by wearing Green and Gold on Friday, Aug. 30. A photo will be taken in front of Sheldon Hall following 'birthday' cupcakes at 12:30 p.m. Post your photos on the Green and Gold Day 2013 Facebook Page and tweet your photos using #OswegoPride

May 2014 Commencement Schedule Revision
An increasing number of graduates and number of visitors supporting them on their special day will lead to Oswego adding a third May commencement ceremony starting in 2014. Ceremonies on May 17, 2014, will unfold at 9 a.m. for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; 1 p.m. for the School of Business and School of Communication, Media and the Arts; and 4 p.m. for the School of Education, all in the Campus Center arena. Look for more information coming soon.
