The Oswego Alumni Association proudly announces the winners of the 2022 Alumni Awards. Each individual has distinguished themselves through their accomplishments and service to their professions, communities and alma mater, and will be presented their award during Reunion Weekend: June 9-12 at SUNY Oswego. “Recognizing our stellar alumni is among my most cherished activities every year,” said Laura Pavlus Kelly ’09, executive director of the Oswego Alumni Association and director of alumni engagement at SUNY Oswego. “In reviewing the pool of candidates, I am always humbled by the accomplishments and service of our Laker alumni community throughout the world. This year’s pool of nominees was no exception.” “Recipients are impressive and accomplished in diverse fields across the country and around the world,” said Awards Committee Member David Cristantello ’74. “The awards emphasize the amazing impact Oswego graduates have on society.”

All of the recipients, except Edminster, will receive their awards at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, during the College Update in Waterbury Hall Lounge. Edminster will receive her award during the Golden Alumni Society Reception and Luncheon from 12:30 – 3 p.m. in the Deborah F. Stanley Arena and Convocation Hall in the Marano Campus Center. Both events that Saturday are being held in conjunction with SUNY Oswego’s Reunion Weekend. “There are many more outstanding Oswego alumni than we could ever fully recognize, but just knowing they are out there making a mark in their chosen fields is a source of Oswego pride,” Cristantello said. “Serving on the committee has been a privilege and a constructive way to express my passion for my own Oswego experience.”
